Stories continue to be published concerning boiler room investment groups who commit fraudulent actions aganist naive investors. Although the SEC has the responsibility for policing these groups, one cannot expect them to do so.

The SEC is constrained by budgets; they wil never have adequate resources to keep up with every crook who attempts to take an individuals money through fraudulent means.

In the last ten years, thousands of individuals with no knowledge of the market moved out of safe investments in an attempt to capture large gains in the market. Greed, not deliberate research,
prevailed.

If you can not do your homework in choosing a broker or a stock, stay out of the game--move to investments you understand through individuals or instiutions you have known for some time.
