New cybersecurity training will be required for Congressional staff. House leaders have asked security officials to implement a new training regimen for aides and take additional measures to protect sensitive information from hackers. The Washington Post reports that Administrative Officer Daniel Beard started the review after a junior staffer took home sensitive computer files that named members of Congress the panel was investigating. Beard will also password-protect the House internal wireless Internet service. Employees traveling outside the United States will also have their government-issued wireless devices checked by security before and after their trips.
