OMB POLICY STATEMENTS
OMB Reports Agencies To Speed Time It Takes To Conduct Security Clearances
Agencies are decreasing the time it takes to conduct security clearances for hiring federal employees and contractors as a result of using more investigators and adjudicators and increased accountability for performance, according to an Office of Management and Budget report. In addition to OMB, the team includes the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Defense Department and Office of Personnel Management.
