Jacob Lew Approved as OMB Chief
On Tuesday, a senate panel signed off on Obama’s selection to head up OMB. In a 9-0 vote, the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee approved Jacob Lew. “The last time that Jack Lew served as head of OMB he served a Democratic president who worked with a Republican Congress to produce a balanced budget,” said Susan Collins of Maine “And I’m hopeful that history will repeat itself.”
