OMB Gets $5 Million For Shared Services Development
Various efforts by the Office of Management and Budget and General Services Administration to boost the White House information technology agenda will continue to receive funding this fiscal year under an omnibus spending bill approved by the House and Senate. The bill, known as an omnibus because it consolidates a majority of individual spending bills, secured Senate passage Dec. 17 in a 67-31 vote a day after the House approved it 296-121.
