NMFS Issues LOAS for Navy Sonar
The National Marine Fisheries Service issued the Navy two Letters of Authorization to take marine mammals by harassment incidental to the Navy's Surveillance Towed Array Sensor Systems Low Frequency Active sonar operations. The operations will occur in the North Pacific Ocean.
