Two of the Most Contentious Regulatory Initiatives in Recent History

This interactive public docket (IPD) allows policy officials, along with their colleagues in a number of venues, to participate in one of the most contentious regulatory debates of the century: should the social media be regulated? This IPD also provides policy officials with a forum to share their views with their counterparts on a 24/7 basis and it is managed by the Center for Regulatory Effectiveness (CRE), an organization founded by former regulatory officials  of the White House Office of Management and Budget. CRE IPD’s are visited regularly by federal regulators, Congressional staff , employees of the judiciary, non-government organizations and the administrative law academy.

The purpose of this IPD is not to be a comprehensive library of information regarding regulation of social media but instead a library of “must read” articles  and commentary for those government officials and regulatory practitioners who will be determining the outcome of this debate.

Readers or authors who wish to submit articles for consideration for posting on this IPD should submit them to contact@thecre.com.
