More than a third of London’s smokers have purchased illegal tobacco, some of which include the stomach-churning ingredients of asbestos, mould, dust and rat droppings, from retailers around the city, according to new research.
In never-before-seen footage, undercover shoppers have now captured the ease at which they can buy the cigarettes from over the counter, with the cartons costing as little as £3.
