A former Henrico County businessman who failed to report 350 cash cigarette sales of $10,000 or more was sentenced to 10 months in prison followed by two months of home confinement Monday.
In pleading guilty to the misdemeanor in July, Maher Mustafa, 31, owner of The Cigarette Outlet Inc. in the 7900 block of West Broad Street, admitted he knew he was supposed to file requisite federal forms on a total of more than $23 million in cash cigarette sales.
