New Federal Agency Created To Oversee Boxing
The sport of boxing will soon be assigned its very own federal agency. The Senate has approved a bill that would create a United States Boxing Administration to oversee the only unregulated major professional sport.

"Boxing is the only major professional sport in the country without a central regulatory authority. There is no other major professional sport in which the rules and regulations vary so widely."
