EMERGING REGULATORY ISSUES
From The Think Tanks: Mercatus Center

The Mercatus Center conducts in-depth reviews of proposed regulations
The Center has issued comments on the FCC's Contact Lens Rule.

The Center Concludes:

"The FTC could best promote consumer welfare by taking these four steps: (1) adopt a more flexible definition of “business hours,” (2) define “completed communication” in a way that avoids unduly delaying sales to consumers who have valid prescriptions, (3) broaden the definition of “communication” to allow for future advances in technology, and (4) define “contact lens” to include only those lenses intended for vision correction."
