Third Party Validation: The Heart of Sound Regulatory Programs

The validation of events and transactions by a recognized third-party is of increasing significance in federal regulatory policy development. CRE has had been asked to perform such a role in numerous regulatory proceedings.

In the regulatory world the credibility of the third-party validator is of extreme importance as CRE has stated:

"The consideration and ultimate acceptance of the material on an IPD by federal regulators and their regulatory overseers depends in large part on the recognized regulatory expertise and federal credentials of the managers of the organization which hosts the IPD."
