EPA Seeks Nominations for Drinking Water Advisory Council
The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency published Federal Register notice seeking nominations of candidates for a three-year appointment to the National Drinking Water Advisory
Council. EPA seeks to fill four new vacancies on the Council through December 15, 2015.
This 15-member Council was established by the Safe Drinking Water Act to provide
advice, consultation and recommendations to the EPA Administrator on the activities, functions, policies, and regulations required by the SDWA. To maintain the representation required by statute, nominees will be selected to represent: State and local agencies (two vacancies) and the general public (two vacancies). Nominations should be submitted to EPA on or before November 19, 2012.
