Department of
Energy
Acquisition
Regulation
Updated June 6,
2003
The following version of the
Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR) is current
as of the final rule published in the Federal Register on
February 7, 2003. Formatting problems were corrected in
June, 2003. If you have any questions concerning this page,
please contact Richard
Langston in the
Office of Procurement and Assistance Policy.
Please
Note: This electronic version of the DEAR is provided as a
service to readers of the Office of Procurement and Assistance
Management Home Page. The official version of the DEAR can be
found at 48 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Chapter
9.
The DEAR implements and
supplements the Federal Acquisition Regulation
(FAR) and is not, by
itself, a complete document; it must be used in conjunction
with the FAR. The DEAR is divided into the same parts,
subparts, sections, subsections and paragraphs as is the FAR.
However, when the FAR coverage is adequate by itself, there
will be no corresponding DEAR part, subpart, etc.
The following list identifies
recent rulemakings with changes to the DEAR. For specific
details, see the Federal register notices at: https://www.gpo.gov/supdocs/aces/aces140.html. When you get to the GPO site, scroll
down to the search area, and enter the appropriate date in the
"Issue Dates" blocks for the specific notice you wish to
view.
