HHS: Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology
The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONCHIT) was established by Executive Order No. 13335. ONCHIT's mission includes coordinating "tthe spending of approximately $4 billion for health information technology programs and initiatives across the federal enterprise." and coordinating "all outreach activities to private industry and serve as the catalyst for healthcare industry change ."
