The Overseas Security Advisory Council

Established under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), OSAC promotes security cooperation between the State Department and American business and other private sector interests around the world. Over 3,500 U.S. companies, educational institutions, religious and non-governmental organizations are constituents of OSAC.
