Court Denies NRDC Atrazine Motion
A federal district court in San Francisco has denied the Natural Resources' Defense Council's motion challenging EPA's conclusion that the herbicide atrazine is not a likely human carcinogen. NRDC argued that EPA reached this conclusion in violation of a consent decree in the case, which involves EPA's implementation of the FQPA and FIFRA. The court disagreed with NRDC, holding that EPA had complied with all its duties under the consent decree.
