Four-Day SAP On Ecological Risk Assessments
EPA 's FIFRA Science Advisory panel will meet four days to consider and review refined terrestrial and aquatic models for probabilistic ecological assessments of pesticides. The SAP will meet March 30-31 on terrestrial models, and April 1-2 on aquatic models. The models under review would in theory be more accurate and reliable than the lower-tier methods historically used by EPA to assess pesticide risks. EPA requests written comments by 12:00 pm, E.T., March 25, 2004.
