EPA Announces New Public Participation Process For Pesticides Review
EPA and the Department of Agriculture recently announced that they will use a new, more flexible process for public participation in the Agency's tolerance reassessment, registration and re-registration of pesticides. The new process grew out of a pilot project EPA and Agriculture conducted for organophosphate pesticides, and it was developed in consultation with the Tolerance Reassessment Advisory Committee.
