The Washington Post published a very informative report on the Data Quality Act. However, as can be expected in an undertaking of such a magnitude, some critical information is often omitted. One overriding point is that EPA's Science Advisory Panel unanimously concluded that all the studies submitted by both academia and industry were flawed and could not be used as a basis for regulatory decision-making; the Panel rendered this decision subsequent to EPA's responding favorably to CRE's Request for a Correction under the Data Quality Act.
