Government Seeks Comment on National Ocean Policy Draft Implementation Plan
The Council on Environmental Quality seeks public comment on the National Ocean Policy Draft Implementation Plan. Comments are due to the National Ocean Council by midnight, February 27, 2012. The draft Implementation Plan responds to the President's charge for Federal agencies to implement the National Ocean Policy. The draft Plan proposes actions to achieve the Policy's nine priority objectives, and to address some of the most pressing challenges facing the ocean, coasts, and the Great Lakes.
