EPA Extends Comment Period and Schedules Public Hearings on Greenhouse Gas Emissions Standards
On April 13, 2012, the United States Environmental Protection Agency published Federal Register notice of EPA's proposed ''Standards of Performance for Greenhouse Gas Emissions for New Stationary Sources: Electric Utility Generating Units." On May 4, 2012, EPA published Federal Register notice that two public hearings will be held for the proposed Greenhouse Gas rules, and that the comment period for this rulemaking will be extended until June 25, 2012. The public hearings will be held on May 24, 2012, in Washington, D.C. and Chicago, Illinois.
