Public Meeting on Draft Fracking Guidance
EPA has developed draft Underground Injection Control Class II permitting guidance for oil and gas hydraulic fracturing activities using diesel fuels. The agency plans to hold a public meeting to discuss the draft permitting guidance and to solicit input during the public comment period. The meeting is open to all interested parties and will take place on Friday, June 29, 2012, in Room 1153 EPA East, 1201 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, DC. Participants may choose from two identical sessions, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. or from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
