EPA Has EDSP Comprehensive Management Plan
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency now has a plan that is intended to provide "strategic guidance" for EPA's Endocrine Disruptor Screening Program for the remainder of FY 2012 through FY 2017. Among other action items, in 2013 EPA's EDSP Plan provides for FIFRA Science Advisory Panel review of Tier 2 EDSP tests; and for SAP review of EPA's Tier 1 test battery and weight of evidence determinations. EPA's Plan states that this peer review process may require "several FIFRA SAPs."
