EPA Issues ANPR on Fracking Chemicals and Mixtures
On May 9, 2014, EPA issued an Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPR) seeking public comment on the types of chemical information that could be reported and disclosed under the Toxic Substances Control Act, and on the approaches to obtaining this information for chemicals used in hydraulic fracturing activities. Comments are due to EPA by 90 days after the ANPR is published in the Federal Register.
