EPA's Local Government Advisory Committee Meets on Definition of "Waters of the United States"
The U.S. EPA's Local Government Advisory Committee's Protecting America's Waters Workgroup is seeking comment and holding meetings on EPA's proposed rule to clarify protection under the Clean Water Act for streams and wetlands, published on April 21, 2014 (79 FR 22188). The LGAC Workgroup meetings will hear from local elected and appointed officials at several geographic field locations. The general public is invited to attend and comment at these meetings.
