EPA Seeks Comment on Proposed Greenhouse Gas Rules, Guidelines and ICRs
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has published Federal Register notice of proposed standards of performance for emissions of greenhouse gases from affected modified and reconstructed fossil fuel-fired electric utility generating units. Comments on the proposed Standards must be received by EPA on or before October 16, 2014. Click here for these proposed standards.

In the same Federal Register, EPA published notice of proposed emission guidelines for states to follow in developing plans to address greenhouse gas emissions from existing fossil fuel-fired electric generating units. Comments on these proposed guidelines must be received on or before October 16, 2014. Click here for these proposed guidelines.

An Information Collection Request for this proposed rule has been submitted for approval to the Office of Management and Budget under the Paperwork Reduction Act. This ICR has been assigned the EPA ICR number 2503.01. Comment to OMB on this ICR is best assured of having its full effect if the OMB receives it by July 18, 2014.
