EPA and Corps Extend "Waters of the United States" Comment Period
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are extending the comment period for their proposed rule "Definition of 'Waters of the United States' Under the Clean Water Act" published on April 21, 2014. The agencies are extending the comment period in response to stakeholder requests for an extension and to allow comments on new supporting materials. Comments must be received on or before November 14, 2014. The comment period was scheduled to end on October 20, 2014.
