EPA proposes CO2 Rules for U.S. Territories and Indian Country
The U.S. EPA is proposing emission guidelines for U.S. territories and areas of Indian country with existing fossil fuel-fired EGUs. Specifically, the EPA is proposing rate-based goals for carbon dioxide emissions for U.S. territories and areas of Indian country with existing fossil fuel fired EGUs, as well as guidelines for plans to achieve those goals. Comments on these proposals are due to EPA by December 19, 2014.
