Integration of National Bank and Federal Savings Association Regulations: Licensing Rules
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has published a final rule that integrates its rules relating to policies and procedures for corporate activities and transactions involving national banks and Federal savings associations; that revises some of these rules in order to eliminate unnecessary requirements consistent with safety and soundness and to promote fairness in supervision; and that makes other technical and conforming changes. The OCC is also adopting publishing amendments that update its rules for agency organization and function.
