Interior Extends Comment Period on Proposed Offshore Oil and Gas Blowout Rules
The U. S. Department of Interior's Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement extended the public comment period on BSEE's proposed rulemaking entitled "Oil and Gas and Sulphur Operations on the Outer Continental Shelf -- Blowout Preventer Systems and Well Control." These proposed rules were published in the Federal Register on April 17, 2015 (80 FR 21504). Based on stakeholder requests, BSEE is extending the comment period to July 16, 2015.
