EPA and Corps Publish Final Waters of the United States Rule
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have published a final rule defining the scope of waters protected under the Clean Water Act. This rule is effective on August 28, 2015. In accordance with 40 CFR Part 23, this regulation shall be considered issued for purposes of judicial review at 1 p.m. Eastern time on July 13, 2015.
