OMB Sends Sequestration Report to President and Congress
The U.S. Office of Management and Budget has published notice of availability of OMB's Final Sequestration Report to the President and Congress for FY 2016. This Sequestration Report is on compliance of enacted 2016 discretionary appropriations legislation with the discretionary caps. The report finds that enacted appropriations are within the current law defense and nondefense discretionary limits for 2016; therefore, a sequestration of discretionary budget authority is not required.
