Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Programs Rules
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has published final rules that address the application of certain requirements set forth in the Public Health Service Act, as amended by the Paul Wellstone and Pete Domenici Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008, to coverage offered by Medicaid managed care organizations, Medicaid Alternative Benefit Plans, and Children's Health Insurance Programs. These regulations are effective on May 31, 2016.
