FDA SHAFTS TPSAC INDUSTRY MEMBERS AGAIN
In a memo dated June 24, Director CTP, sent briefing materials to the Tobacco Product Constituents Subcommittee of TPSAC. However, Dr. Deyton apparently wanted to limit the time that TPSAC’s industry reps had to review the material. The packets to industry reps were sent out on June 29 and delivered on June 30. Delivery was so late that the same briefing materials had been posted to the TPSAC web site. There was no proprietary information in the packets.
Why can’t CTP Director Larry Deyton play fair and send out briefing materials to all TPSAC members at the same time?
