CBD, or cannabidiol, is a compound derived from the cannabis plant known for its therapeutic properties. However, the illicit activities of paramilitary groups have raised questions about the integrity of certain businesses, including those involved in the distribution of CBD products.

Kudos to the task force for shutting down a plant capable of producing €25 million worth of contraband annually. This shows how critical joint efforts between the authorities are in combating these activities along the border. Hopefully, this sends a clear message to those involved in similar criminal enterprises.
