Illegal cigarettes and tobacco being sold to children seized from caravan near Lincoln. Cigarettes and hand rolling tobacco have been seized from a Lincolnshire caravan owner who was selling them to local secondary school pupils. School students were buying the tobacco products from the property in Meadow Farm Caravan Park, Chapel Lane in North Hykeham. Lincolnshire Trading Standards and Lincolnshire Police carried out a test purchase from the caravan on Tuesday June 17, and a packet of not-duty paid cigarettes was sold to a 15-year-old. The seller was arrested and officers searched the vehicle, confiscating 140 illegal cigarettes and 850g of foreign-labelled hand rolling tobacco. They also found empty packets, supporting police intelligence that the owner may have been selling individual cigarettes to the young people. Among the empty packets were two packs of Jin Lings, which are illegal and very dangerous.
