EXPERTS fear cigarettes laced with a lethal radioactive isotope are being smuggled into Scotland
Officials recently seized a batch of counterfeit cigarettes in Poland, which contained Strontium 90, a radioactive isotope produced when atomic weapons explode.
According to reports, there are now fears the toxic cigarettes could end up in Scotland.
Customs officers at Warsaw airport are thought to have found the cigarettes hidden in a container of frozen crabs.
The container is believed to have been packed in Vietnam.
