Three hurt in Belfast blast bomb attack

Three police officers and two soldiers were hurt in a blast bomb attack in north Belfast today, police said.

Meanwhile, police were still questioning three men about an arms find in west Belfast which has been linked to the Real IRA.

A woman who was also detained after the discovery in New Barnsley Crescent, was released, according to a police spokesman.

Two assault rifles and three shotguns were found in a garden, with ammunition, various items of combat clothing, a scanner receiver and charger and 8,000 suspected contraband cigarettes.
