Monday’s case was the second to be adjudicated here in five months
involving a major cigarette trafficking operation. In September, an area
businessman in North Chesterfield pleaded guilty in federal court to
helping traffic 450,000 cartons of cigarettes out of Virginia worth
almost $20 million.
