An Indian tobacco company has come to the end of the road in yet another battle with a state government.
Native Wholesale Supply Company is located on the Seneca Nation in New York. The business asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review a decision from Oklahoma that said it was engaging in the illegal distribution of “contraband” cigarettes.
Without comment, the justices declined the company’s petition in an order this morning. That puts Native Wholesale’s losses at three — cases from Idaho and California were rejected last year.
