69% of illegal cigarettes in Latvia are from Belarus.
Latvia will enhance security at the Latvian and Polish borders to prevent the smuggling of Belarusian cigarettes. The Latvian State Income Service has supported the idea and claimed that illegal cigarettes from Belarus had become a problem for the whole European Union.
The Latvian service refers to a survey conducted by Nilsen Company in Latvia. According to the survey, 69% illegal cigarettes in Latvia are forming Belarus, rus.delfi.lv reports.
