THIS small Freeman Street kitchen was transformed into the cigarette-making factory at the heart of a £95,000 illicit tobacco operation.
The property was the home of Grimsby man Eric Cuerton, 57, who was locked up for three years at Grimsby Crown Court after admitting his role in the operation which evaded tax totalling around £14,000.
His accomplices, Ronald Johnson, 53, of High Street, Davenport, John Stewart, 51, of Wallasey, and Guiseppe Avani, 35, of London, all admitted tax evasion offences and were each locked up for a year.
