10 Chicago residents indicted in Missouri, accused of contraband cigarette sales
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Ten Chicago residents are facing federal charges alleging they conspired to buy contraband cigarettes in St. Louis and took them back to Chicago to sell them.
The suspects, ages 24 through 36, were indicted April 8 on one count each of conspiracy to traffic in contraband cigarettes. The U.S. Attorney’s office in St. Louis announced the indictments Wednesday.
