Over 30 million individual contraband cigarettes were confiscated in a raid in Chetumal on Monday.
According to Mexican authorities, they received an anonymous tip and with the strength of a search warrant, they visited the town of Huay-Pix in the municipality of Othon P. Blanco.
The area is located a few miles outside of the Belize/Mexico Border. Authorities searched a building and found 10 vehicles loaded with boxes of cigarettes.
