A 26-year-old Flushing, N.Y., man was charged last week with illegally hauling 1,200 cartons of untaxed cigarettes from Maryland to New Jersey, to state police said.
Troopers stopped Run Qiang Mai’s car shortly after midnight Nov. 18 on Interstate 78 east of mile marker 48.7 in Weisenberg Township.
