Searches taken aboard three vessels in Bay Roberts and St. Anthony resulted in the seizure of drugs and contraband tobacco, amongst other items.
According to a Canada Border Services Agency news release, approximately 450 grams of hashish and 35 cartons of contraband tobacco were seized during the searches, which started Nov. 13 and continued into the early hours of the following day. Also seized was a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm silencer.
