21.7 per cent of cigarette butts examined at Huntsville High School found to be illegal
HUNTSVILLE – Contraband cigarettes continue to have a strong presence in the community.
The Ontario Convenience Store Association released the results of a study on Dec. 7 wherein researchers collected cigarette butts from 133 sites across the province including several in Huntsville. While the study is not scientific, it found that 24.7 per cent of examined cigarette in Huntsville butts were contraband.
