A New York man has been charged with possessing with the intent to distribute more than 700 cartons of Virginia cigarettes after he was arrested during a traffic stop in Chesterfield County.
Khaled Ahmed, 37, whose address on arrest warrants is listed as Manhattan, N.Y., was arrested Wednesday after police said they found 716 cartons of cigarettes in his possession during a traffic stop. That’s the equivalent of more than 140,000 cigarettes.
