A national spokesperson for an anti-contraband cigarette lobby group said the millions of dollars generated by the sale of illegal smokes are fuelling organized crime in Ontario.

Gary Grant, the national spokesperson for the National Coalition Against Contraband Tobacco, was in Kingston on Monday as part of a two-day tour of cities along “the Contraband Trail,” communities along Highway 401 from Cornwall to Windsor where the sale of contraband cigarettes are prevalent.
